Engineering

Poorly engineered designs, costly "learning curve" mistakes, and failure to properly interpret customer's requirements can all cause mobile units to fail miserably.

Medical Coaches has combined our nearly one-half century of mobile unit engineering learning experiences into one of the most extensive historical reference databases in our industry. We rarely come across a new product that does not rely somewhat upon past successful engineering information.

Our current degreed engineering staff covers most necessary disciplines with a concentration in mechanical and electrical fields. With over 50 years of total mobile engineering experience, our engineering staff utilizes a mix of good old engineering "horse sense" with modern, innovative techniques in all their projects.

Their engineering tools are state of the art. Pro/Engineer and CadKey software allow solid modeling and drafting to be performed at the same levels as major automotive manufacturers. Solid 3D models are created for the completed mobile unit, detailing all production aspects. From this model, fit and function can be verified prior to production. Incompatibility, improper centers of gravity, and weight distribution issues can be caught before costly manufacturing has begun. These techniques are not new or experimental to us; we've used them for more than 10 years.

One of the most important and successful aspects of Medical Coaches' engineering staff is their close team-oriented working relationships with production employees and customers. Customers form direct liaisons with engineering to ensure their needs are properly transmitted and interpreted. Production workers communicate on a daily basis with engineering to ensure what they design is realistic and sensible. Many good engineering innovations were the result of a production employee's idea.
