Medical Coaches, Inc. built the world's first mobile PET unit in 1991. Budget constraints, lack of reimbursement and medical
community acceptance caused the initial introduction to be "shelved."
In the late 1990's and early 2000's, mobile PET expanded rapidly. Virtually all major medical centers are now
either providing or considering PET service.
Due to Medical Coaches head start in this new modality, we were able to draw on our past prototype experience
when designing current models. Our past understanding of patient flow, equipment specifications, radiation protection, isotope
storage and handling allowed us to design one of the most "user friendly" mobile PET environments available in the industry.
We used the same custom aluminum body construction technologies as we did with mobile MRI. Our bodies are lighter,
shorter and more maneuverable; all without sacrificing floor space.
We used the same concept of straight thru/flat floors, side mounted generators, protected underbelly hydraulic lift,
flow-thru curtain-style air conditioned distribution and specially built European-style cabinetry.
We knew all these features contributed to making our trailers the first choice of many sophisticated buyers in our
industry. Why change?

and make you money!
