Manufacturing Process

Step 2: Design Review
Back | Next
During the design stage of a product, meetings are conducted to analyze data, review drawings, answer questions, and solve problems. The Product Design and Development Team conducts these meetings and, when required, requests participation of a production team member who reviews the design with the responsible engineer as often as needed prior to release for production. The final results of these reviews are documented on the drawings and bills of material of the product. Production personnel sign drawings upon approval during the review. After the bills of material and drawings are released, reviews take place when changes or improvements are made. No product changes can be made without required approval signatures.
