In the mid-1970s, Medical
Coaches was honored to build the first mobile head scan CT unit for EMI
Medical.
We built quite a number of units for them until they left the CT market.
Medical Coaches’ current mobile CT configurations are
both self-propelled and semi-trailer designs. Special attention is paid
to shock and vibration reduction; lead lining to meet regulatory approval;
heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); humidity control; patient
comfort; and operator convenience.
Mobile CT units come with their own generator, HVAC, patient lift, roll-up
door (automatic electric), lead lining, humidifier, special electrical supply,
custom cabinetry, air-ride suspension, and custom all-aluminum body.
Units are designed to accommodate a wide range of CT manufacturer’s products
and models.
